Responsibilities
* Collaborate with site leadership on quality and Customer Experience metrics, including the root cause analysis of problem areas.
* Streamline logistics in the operation through the implementation of standard work and team leadership.
* Support and commit to all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates.
* Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools, Operational Leadership:
o Own all yard operations including TOM FC Operations, Hostler Duties, and Guard Shack Operations.
o Delegate supervision of different shifts to TOM Leads (TLs), who manage operations during off-core hours.
o Ensure proper training and address team needs so associates can focus on their jobs.
o Streamline logistics through implementation of standard work and team leadership.

Day in the Life
The day will start with a review of site key transportation metrics – the lifeblood of our operations: Safety, Yard Events, and On Time Departure (OTD). OTD, the critical measure of how efficiently we're moving packages through our network. After that you will be ready to go into the Gemba Walk and Daily Dive Deep Meetings in your site. As a TOM professional, you'll play a pivotal role in driving Amazon's logistics evolution – shaping the way goods move, empowering our people, and delivering exceptional experiences for our customers.
Qualifications
* Experience in people management.
* Experience engaging verbally and in writing with internal and external stakeholders to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner.
* Experience using data to influence business decisions.
* Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal.
* A degree (Bachelor's or Master's) and experience working for Amazon or any Amazon subsidiary or affiliate.
* Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen techniques.
* Experience within a distribution center, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
* Experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment.
