We're seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the Principal Contractor on a major substation construction project in one of the most remote and picturesque parts of Scotland. This is a long-term, site-based role offering a unique opportunity to work on a high-profile energy infrastructure build. ???? Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead commercial management of the project under NEC4 contract conditions.
2. Manage subcontractor packages, valuations, and cost reporting.
3. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project timelines.
4. Collaborate closely with site teams, clients, and stakeholders.
5. Identify and mitigate commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle. ???? Requirements:
6. Strong experience in infrastructure or energy projects.
7. In-depth knowledge of NEC4 contracts.
8. Comfortable working in remote, site-based environments.
9. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
10. Relevant qualifications (e.g., RICS, CIOB) preferred..
12. Flexible engagement via Umbrella PAYE or CIS.
13. Long-term contract with a minimum duration of 2-3 years.
14. Work directly for the Principal Contractor on a landmark project.
