On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Manufacturing Project Manager to join our team. The role involves supporting Programme Managers and the Manufacturing Management Team to define, plan, direct, and deliver manufacturing projects and contracts against business plan targets through rigorous cost control and schedule adherence. The successful candidate will manage stakeholder interfaces, including internal customers, and ensure accurate reporting of progress across all aspects of project performance.
Role Details:
Position: Manufacturing Project Manager
Pay: Up to 33 per hour Umbrella
Location: Bolton
Contract: Monday - Friday, 37 hours/week, 12 months
IR35 Status: Inside
Security Clearance: BPSS to start, SC to follow
Responsibilities:
Ownership of manufacturing work packages from cost, schedule, and quality perspectives.
Planning, facilitating, and supporting large-scale contracts throughout the product lifecycle.
Developing and maintaining relationships with internal customers and subcontractors.
Ensuring accurate reporting of project progress and interpreting requirements for manufacturing.
Assisting in preparing and maintaining contract risk and opportunity plans/budgets.
Communicating project requirements to multidisciplinary teams to ensure delivery.
Participating in tendering and bidding activities for future business opportunities.
Essential Experience:
Project Management Qualifications.
3-4 years as a Project Manager with proven experience delivering fixed-cost programs of significant value within a matrix organization.
Experience in an engineering or production environment is preferred.
Strong communication skills and experience in leading multifunctional teams under tight deadlines.
Proactive, enthusiastic, and able to prioritize strategic and tactical decisions.
Practical application of project management skills in relevant business environments.
