Exciting opportunity to join a growing business based near Abingdon as a Cyber Security Specialist, offering chance to join an expanding team and supporting day to day cyber security work. Offering circa £35-40,000 depending on experience plus excellent benefits including hybrid working.
The role
As Cyber Security Specialist, you'll join a small team and be responsible for a variety of day to day activities including:
1. vulnerability management, patch management, email security and mobile device management
2. assessing cyber threats, using SIEM & SOAR tools
3. penetration testing
4. continuous improvement, ensuring documentation is maintained in line with best-practice / standards
5. support on project work
About you
Applicants for the Cyber Security Specialist role will have:
6. a relevant cyber security degree or qualification
7. strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work as part of a team
8. self-starter and self-motivated, with ability to work in a small team / small business environment
9. broad knowledge of cyber security including understanding of cyber threats, network security, endpoint security, vulnerability patching/mgt
10. knowledge of endpoint management tools like MS Intune
