'It is an exciting time to be a part of the MHST, it is rare you get to say you have truly shaped a new service but with MHST I have the opportunity to help it to develop and grow.' - MHST Clinician
As a Band 6 clinician, the Mental Health Support Team (MHST) provides an ideal environment for you to expand your existing skills. This service is particularly aimed at offering early intervention to children and young people experiencing mild not moderate mental health difficulties. MHST's main therapeutic approach is Low Intensity CBT via 1:1 or group sessions within educational settings. We currently have vacancies in these localities:
* Harborough District
* City Northwest Locality
As an experienced practitioner, your existing skills and knowledge will be a vital part of the team. We are passionate about supporting and empowering children, young people, and families to make informed choices, and supporting our team to be autonomous, skilled practitioners. We are committed to helping our staff learn and develop new skills, supporting our team to become highly trained in delivering care to our patients.
Candidates must be a registered Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, or a registered Low Intensity CBT practitioner (EMHP or CWP). You will work in educational settings supporting children, young people, their families, and carers to promote best practice. Additionally, you will provide clinical supervision and line management to EMHPs and CWPs in the service. Applicants must demonstrate in their application that they have completed Low Intensity Supervisor Training (LIST) or are currently undertaking this course.
We may close the advert early if we receive a sufficient number of applications, so please apply as soon as possible.
