Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Care at Home Officer for the East Sutherland Health and Social Care Team at Lawson Memorial Hospital, Golspie. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to support patients in their own homes, helping them maintain independence after leaving hospital. The role requires flexibility, initiative and a commitment to high standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide holistic care to patients in their homes, ensuring independence and support after discharge.
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver a high-quality service to the local community.
* Use your own initiative and flexibility to meet patient and service needs.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience not required, but beneficial.
* Full training will be provided, and you will have the opportunity to complete an SVQ in Health & Social Care.
* Driving licence essential; you must have access to your own vehicle for work purposes.
Details
This is a Fixed Term part-time post to May 2026 of 13.81 hours, working 7:00 am to 11:00 am, 4 days on, 4 days off, or in line with service requirements.
This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa. NHS Highland is unable to provide candidates with a Certificate of Sponsorship.
