As a Sales Development Manager, you’ll take full ownership of free trade accounts within a defined territory. Your primary focus will be driving sales growth and profitability by executing our commercial strategy across both existing and new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver volume and profit targets across a range of own-brand products
* Manage territory planning and maintain strong customer account relationships
* Proactively prospect for new business to meet growth targets
* Maximise product sales within existing accounts to achieve commercial goals
* Leverage sales promotions and marketing materials to drive demand
* Build lasting relationships with customers to foster loyalty and account growth
* Sell in investments to secure and develop long-term trading partnerships
* Represent our brand portfolio with professionalism and enthusiasm
Key Stakeholders
* External: Business owners, account stakeholders, and suppliers
* Internal: Sales, Marketing, Cellar Services, and Distribution teams
About You
Skills & Experience
* Proven track record in sales, within an on-trade environment
* Strong account management and new business development experience
* Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
* Confident working with data – Excel and PowerPoint proficiency desirable
* Structured and reliable approach to sales planning
