Construction Trainer Think FE are recruiting on behalf of an Outstanding-rated Adult and Community Learning team in the Tees Valley We’re looking for a passionate Trainer in Construction to deliver engaging, hands-on and theory-based training across a range of trades, including Bricklaying, Plastering, Joinery, Plumbing, and Health & Safety. You’ll support adult learners through flexible, roll-on, roll-off programmes, helping them build skills and confidence to succeed in employment. Key Responsibilities Deliver practical and classroom-based sessions across construction trades Support adult learners in gaining the skills and behaviours needed for employment Adapt your delivery to suit learners on flexible, roll-on, roll-off programmes Promote safe working practices and embed Health & Safety standards Track learner progress and provide high-quality feedback Act as a role model for professional conduct and site-readiness What’s on offer? £25,105 – £34,235 per annum (Salary negotiable up to £37,284 for the right candidate) Permanent, full-time role 37 hours per week 30 days holiday bank holidays closure over the Christmas period Employer Pension Scheme (NEST) Candidate Requirements Level 3 qualification in a trade (bricklaying, plastering, plumbing, or carpentry & joinery preferred) At least 5 years' experience working on-site in construction Willingness to work towards a teaching qualification CSCS card desirable Strong communication and organisational skills Passionate about learner success and community impact Why Join This College You’ll join an Outstanding-rated Adult and Community Learning service with a proven track record of supporting adult learners into work and further study.
