Job Title: International Account Manager Location: UK (Home-Based with Head Office and International travel) Territory: Southern Europe & Rest of World (dependent on experience of successful candidate) Contract and working pattern: Permanent, 37.5 hours a week Are you ready to Be Your Best Barr None? What we’re looking for… As an AG Barr International Account Manager you will have a unique opportunity to drive sales and development of all AG Brands in your assigned territory. Working directly with the International sales and operations team, you will be pivotal in creating and managing customer annual plans whilst delivering sales targets for your account base, alongside maximising the availability of products through the optimal channels. Your focus will be to grow brand presence as well as sales growth in your specific geographical region - covering the planning, development and evolution of our International trading strategies. You will translate this strategy into winning customer plans that drive distribution and cover promotions, discounts, brand content within the agreed Commercial Investment budgets. Managing an existing set of distributors and wholesalers you will also seek out new partners in new territories, working with other International sales and operations team members to agree a unified approach to managing A.G Barr Brands across Europe and ROW. Your responsibilities will include Distributor/Account Management: Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including revenue, NPD, distribution, visibility, and promotional management. Compelling Selling: Master persuasive selling, utilising market data to align customer and business objectives. Commercial Understanding: Influence P&L with a focus on contribution measures and develop joint business plans and pricing strategies for brand launches. Negotiation: Prepare fully for negotiations while adhering to business values, understanding agreements, and handling international contract challenges. Building Customer Influence: Adapt approach to customer needs, grasp internal workings, and ensure communication aligns with customer and shopper-centric objectives. Training & Development: Manage training aligned with competencies and company behaviours, support performance reviews for career progression, adhering to CLASS and 70/20/10 models. Forecasting: Take ownership of forecasts using diverse data sources, creating weekly, periodic, and annual forecasts collaboratively with the supply chain team. What you’ll bring Three years plus of International sales experience in an FMCG / CPG environment Proven track record of driving growth in a range of International customers and markets Educated to a degree level (or equivalent experience) Fluent in English, with second language desirable not essential Manage and build a distributor network across multiple International markets Awareness of regulatory product compliance to protect A.G Barr brands in market Able to consider International operations requirements, including knowledge of incoterms, in parallel with the UK business such that efficiency and best practice are optimised. Ability to negotiate contracts to mitigate risk in International territories Good communicator (especially remotely) and ability to build cross functional relationships. Organising & Executing - Able to set clearly defined objectives and monitor performance. Interacting and presenting - Able to present with confidence and establish great working relationships with all levels of contact. Resilience - Able to work productively within a high-pressure environment. Initiative - able to take appropriate action before being asked and actively finds solutions to problems. Able to adopt a logical and methodical approach and can be relied upon not to give up and to see jobs through from start to finish. Excellent IT skills (Google Suite, Excel, PowerPoint & Word).
