Role Overview:
As Crew Team Leader, you are part of the management team with clearly defined roles and responsibilities to ensure the store operates safely, the team is managed effectively, and excellent service is delivered.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Provide exceptional service, using your knowledge to help customers find the best products for in-store and multi-channel sales.
2. Resolve customer issues effectively and promptly at store level.
3. Offer efficient and attentive service at the tills, processing POS transactions and thanking customers.
4. Build customer loyalty and encourage 'Customers for Life' through opt-in at the POS.
5. Delegate tasks and demonstrate leadership in daily store operations.
6. Understand the commercial aspects of retail, including reading reports, analyzing data, and making decisions.
7. Ensure the store aligns with visual guidelines, maintaining standards through product presentation, replenishment, housekeeping, and seasonal setups.
8. Safeguard the business by ensuring compliance with policies, loss prevention, and health & safety, especially in the absence of management.
9. Stay updated on company products, activities, and promotions, implementing changes as needed.
Role Competencies:
1. Proven leadership skills and recognized as a team leader among peers.
2. Experience in customer service is essential.
3. Experience with POS management, banking procedures, and meeting deadlines.
4. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
5. A collaborative, positive attitude with confidence to take initiative and work independently.
6. Ability to work efficiently under pressure, learn quickly, and retain information.
