This is a specialist engineering role providing technical leadership across radiation protection systems and supporting safe operations on site.
The role
Provide technical leadership for Radiation Protection Instrumentation across site.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
Support the full lifecycle of instrumentation including selection, calibration and maintenance.
Lead improvements in engineering processes and technical standards.
Work with regulators, manufacturers and industry stakeholders.
Support staff development and technical competence within the team.

Full time hours.

What we are looking for
Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
Strong technical knowledge of instrumentation and control systems.
Understanding of radiation protection principles or willingness to develop.
Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Organised and proactive approach to technical work.
