Location: Waddesdon Overview The role will require support of students in the classroom as well as assisting some students with physical and socio-emotional difficulties. The work may include some personal care. The post would suit a cheerful individual who can work independently or in a team. An ability or willingness to teach small groups of students and to support their literacy or numeracy skills and individual development is desirable. Website: www.waddesdonschool.com About the role Working in partnership with the class teacher, to support the education, personal and social development of pupils in the class, including those with special educational needs and/or bilingual needs, and to establish positive relationships with pupils To be proactive in identifying and supporting needs as they arise, communicating needs appropriately with relevant staff and professionals To be a trusted adult (named LSA keyworker) to enable implementation of SEND Code of Practice To work within school policies and procedures with an up-to-date understanding of Keeping Children Safe in Education and related Safeguarding, Child Protection and Code of Conduct requirements See job description for full details.
