Crowne Plaza London Kings Cross is a renowned 4-star hotel, celebrated for exceptional service and creating unforgettable guest experiences.
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team and support the Executive Head Chef in the day-to-day management of our kitchen. This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week, with shifts scheduled between Monday and Sunday, depending on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting the Executive Head Chef in managing the kitchen operations
* Preparing and cooking from a Continental Menu with grill experience
* Training and developing junior kitchen team members
* Managing stock and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
* Maintaining a high level of attention to detail and taking pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Sous Chef in a professional kitchen, ideally in a hotel environment
* Passion for cooking, with the ability to work under pressure and strong organisational skills
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and food hygiene standards
* A positive attitude and team player with excellent skills
* Ability to carry out manual tasks and ensure customer care at the highest level
