Join our team as an Accommodation Support Officer and support our participants with their housing needs.
We're seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to work across custodial (HMP) and community settings. This role involves supporting individuals transitioning from prison back into the community, helping them secure and maintain stable accommodation. You will collaborate with prison staff, probation services, housing providers, and local authorities to assess housing needs, develop resettlement plans, and provide ongoing support post-release.
We pride ourselves on delivering person-focused services. While transferable skills are desirable, we value engagement and comfort working with diverse backgrounds. On-site training and support will be provided to develop your knowledge and skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills are essential to build effective professional relationships with participants and external stakeholders. We seek an outstanding role model who can encourage positive changes in attitudes and behavior.
In return, we offer a competitive salary starting from £24,650 to £29,000 per annum (dependent on experience), along with benefits such as:
