Role Profile: Technical Product Manager – Horizon Customer Data Platform (CDP)
Role Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and technically strong Technical Product Manager (TPM) to lead the development and evolution of our Horizon Customer Data Platform (CDP). This platform is the cornerstone of our customer data strategy, integrating data from multiple sources to provide unified single customer views, data science models, actionable insights, reporting and personalized experiences across channels.
The TPM will work at the intersection of engineering, data, and business to define and execute the roadmap, ensure robust data integrations, enable analytics capabilities, and maintain compliance and governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
* Work in tandem with the Director of Marketing & Strategic Projects as well as wider stakeholders to evolve the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Horizon CDP in alignment with company goals.
* Prioritize features and improvements based on customer needs, competitor landscape, business value, technical feasibility
Technical Leadership
* Collaborate closely with data engineering, architecture, data science and activation teams to design scalable and robust platform with market leading features
* Evaluate and guide technical decisions including API design, data models, data science features, UX/UI design and third-party integration frameworks.
Stakeholder Collaboration
* Act as the primary liaison between business units, data scientists, analytics teams, marketing, and engineering to ensure the platform delivers value to all users.
* Translate business requirements into clear and actionable user stories and technical specifications.
Execution & Delivery
* Lead the agile delivery of features, ensuring high-quality and timely releases.
* Maintain a strong focus on performance, data integrity, and security throughout the development lifecycle.
* Continuously monitor platform performance and user satisfaction to inform enhancements.
Skills & Experience Required
Essential:
* 5+ years in product management with a focus on data platforms or enterprise SaaS products.
* Strong technical background with a solid understanding of data architectures, APIs, ETL pipelines, and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
* Proven experience working with CDPs, DMPs, CRMs, or similar customer data tools.
* Familiarity with identity resolution, customer segmentation, and real-time personalization.
* Hands-on experience with agile product development methodologies.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable:
* Knowledge of modern data tools (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, Kafka).
* Understanding of machine learning workflows and personalization engines.
* Product certifications (e.g., SAFe, Pragmatic, CSPO).

* Consistent development roll outs of the Horizon CDP platform
* Increased adoption and usage of the Horizon CDP across business units.
* Reduction in time to insight for customer data use cases.
