A Night Team Leader at SuperCare provides steady overnight leadership for children with complex learning disabilities and associated conditions/syndromes such as: Smith-Magenis Syndrome, congenital hypopituitarism, global developmental delay, SEMH difficulties, sensory processing differences, and trauma-related attachment needs. You'll be the anchor for both staff and children, ensuring the night is safe, consistent, and therapeutic. The home is rated "Good" by Ofsted and is looking to continue its journey towards "Outstanding". During the night, children are often at their most vulnerable. You'll ensure they feel safe and supported, while guiding the night team to respond with empathy and professionalism. What You'll Do No two nights are the same in this home however there are some strong routines. We look for all adults in our homes to be able to support as below: Lead night staff, setting expectations and providing guidance. Support children through self-injury, aggression, or night-time anxiety, using calm and consistent strategies. Monitor health needs and oversee medication routines. Record and hand over essential information to ensure continuity of care. Provide supervision and reflective support to Night Coaches. What We're Looking For Experience in residential care leadership. Level 3 Diploma in Children's Care (or working towards). Skilled in supporting syndrome-related sleep disruption and dysregulation. Strong leader with a calm, reflective approach. Able to balance staff guidance with hands-on care. Experienced candidates would also bring working knowledge of supporting developmental trauma, attachment difficulties, sensory processing difficulties, complex medical needs. The young people in this home are incredibly energetic and active! Therefore you should be able to physically and mentally engage in a wide range of activities.
