Overview
Lecturer A/B in Clinical Psychology – We have an exciting opportunity available for a Clinical Psychologist to join the Clinical Psychology Training Programme based in Guildford, at the University of Surrey. The programme has expanded in training places due to increased NHS England funding, offering a time of growth and innovation.
We have two 0.6 FTE permanent roles (three days a week). Alternatives to this pattern can be discussed for the right candidates. A core team day is Tuesday, with flexibility for the remaining two days across the week.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to development of the clinical competencies of trainees and evaluation of clinical competencies.
* Develop links with local NHS Trusts and contribute to teaching and learning within the programme.
* Provide leadership as appropriate and help embed equality, diversity, and inclusion into the training model.
* Participate in day-to-day administrative tasks of the programme and contribute to the programme’s research profile where possible.
Qualifications and experience
* Qualified HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist.
* Expertise across a variety of clinical or research settings; special interest in neuropsychological assessment, older adults, and people with learning disabilities is welcomed, but applications from all clinical fields are encouraged.
* Clinical doctorate in psychology (or equivalent) required; eligibility to undertake related postgraduate study (e.g., Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education) may be available.

Salary
£37,964 to £56,535 per annum full-time equivalent. £22,616 to £33,921 pro rata (0.6 FTE).
