Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a specialist History teacher to join a small independent school for girls in South Manchester. This is a temporary supply role to cover a sickness absence.
The Job
* Teacher of Key Stage 3 and GCSE History
* Five days per week
* Experience of the AQA GCSE syllabus would be useful
* Positive, confident classroom management skills with a focus on assessment for learning
* Innovative teacher able to adapt lessons to the changing needs of students
* The school would welcome applications from early career teachers, experienced QTS teachers or FE lecturers with experience teaching History to students aged 11 to 16
The School
Oversubscribed independent school for girls aged 11 to 16 in South Manchester with excellent senior leadership support, small classes of up to 15 students, and good behaviour with a drive to be academically successful.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Hold QTS Status or QTLS
* Enhanced DBS disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
* Provide a CV with full employment/education history; explain any employment breaks
* Have the legal right to work full time in the UK
