Key Responsibilities
Produce and maintain high-quality engineering documentation, including quality plans and technical specifications
Manage technical queries in line with approved processes and procedures
Support contractor selection, tender evaluation and contract placement
Review contractor designs, drawings and technical submissions
Undertake feasibility studies, site surveys and technical appraisals
Prepare Engineering Change documentation and manage impacted records
Lead or support commissioning activities and testing where required
Liaise closely with designers, station engineers and stakeholders
Support Project and Construction Managers to deliver work safely and effectively
Qualifications & Requirements
Mandatory – must have worked on a generating power station.
Chartered Engineer status or HND (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience using CADMECH – essential
SMSTS qualification
Understanding of safety, environmental and quality compliance
Experience working under CDM regulations
Electrical power systems design or installation experience preferred
Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder skills
Experience in highly regulated environments
