Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer
Location: King's Lynn
Salary: £54,500 + Benefits
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer to join a well-established, fast-paced manufacturing environment in King's Lynn. This role offers a great balance of hands-on engineering, continuous improvement, and project work within a highly automated setting.
Shift Pattern
4 days on / 4 off / 4 nights on / 4 off

The Role
Respond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Proactively identify and resolve recurring faults
Fault-find using machine history and diagnostic tools
Support production to maximise output and equipment performance
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Deliver engineering project work as required
Work closely with operations to maintain strong working relationships
About You
Multi-skilled engineer (electrical bias advantageous)
Experience within FMCG, food processing, or manufacturing environments
Proven fault-finding and diagnostic skills (PLC experience preferred)
Strong understanding of health & safety
Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Proactive, self-motivated, and a strong team player
Good communication skills and able to build effective working relationships
Qualifications & Experience
Formal engineering qualification (Electrical and/or Mechanical)
PLC fault finding/diagnostics (essential)
Experience with continuous improvement and minimising downtime
Desirable (not essential):
Boiler operation experience
Refrigeration (C&G 2078/2079)
Pneumatics and hydraulics
Electrical testing & inspection
Welding
HACCP knowledge
