We are seeking a Systems Engineer (MBSE) with extensive experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the defence industry and Model Based Systems Engineering, including expertise in systems engineering, verification, validation, project management, and documentation. The role requires a mindset of attention to detail, communication, and teamwork within the team.
Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and maintain complex systems solutions that meet client needs.
* Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of systems, while adhering to industry standards and best practices.
* Support the development and effective use of MBSE tools and artifacts to support customer needs.
* Design and maintain requirements architectures.
* Create SysML views to represent interactions.
* Support all areas of the V model, translating concepts to customer requirements and providing engineering support to customer design and management teams.
* Full requirements management (creation, update, validation, verification) including supplier integration and DOORS experience.
* Produce detailed technical documentation supporting the development of engineering requirements and associated documentation.
* Complete trade studies.
* Manage planning and work package management.
* Review documentation for subsystems, customers, and work packages.
* Generate SysML and UML models.
* Conduct requirements elicitation, definition, and use‑case analysis.
* Perform concept assessment and design trade studies.
* Design system architecture and functional modelling.
* Perform performance assessment and systems behaviour analysis.
* Conduct verification, validation, proving, and certification activities.
* Support systems integration.
* Apply model‑based engineering techniques, including the use of Rhapsody.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Applicable experience can be substituted for formal qualifications.

* Additional expertise in Naval Systems.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and propose innovative solutions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for multidisciplinary teamwork.
* Experience with project management practices and tools, including schedule management, risk analysis, and resource allocation.
* Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations, such as MIL‑STD, DO‑178C, and DO‑254.
* Eligibility for security clearance (dependent on project requirements).
