Job Advert: Progress Tutor (Sixth Form)
Location: Greater Manchester
Hours: 31.5 hours per week
Salary: £19 - £23 per hour
Contract: Temporary
Eden Brown are looking for a dedicated Progress Tutor to join a leading sixth form in the Greater Manchester area!
This role is temporary, on going 31.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored academic support to Sixth Form students, helping them achieve their personal and academic goals.
* Monitor and track student progress, offering guidance and strategies for improvement.
* Foster a supportive and motivating environment to build students confidence.
* Work closely with subject teachers to align support with individual learning needs.
* Assist with study skills and exam preparation, ensuring students are fully prepared for their assessments.
Key Requirements:
* Previous experience in a tutoring or academic support role (ideally within a post-16 education setting).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A genuine interest in supporting young people and contributing to their success.
* Ability to work independently and manage a caseload of students effectively.
A DBS is also needed for this role. If you do not have a current DBS check Eden Brown can apply on your behalf.
