We’re expanding our delivery team at our High Wycombe Branch and are looking for a dependable DAF HGV Driver with HIAB to help us continue delivering excellent service to our trade and retail customers. The Role We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious DAF HGV Driver with HIAB to join our team AT High Wycombe Grant & Stone Build High Wycombe. The role involves driving and operating a DAF HGV vehicle to deliver building materials to trade customers, construction sites, and residential locations. As the face of the business on-site, the driver will ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and professionally while maintaining high standards of vehicle safety, compliance, and customer service. Key Responsibilities Driving & Deliveries Safely operate a DAF HGV vehicle in line with road traffic regulations and company policies. Deliver building materials to customers, construction sites, and other branches. Carry out multi-drop deliveries within the local area. Ensure deliveries are completed on time and in a professional manner. Obtain signatures and ensure delivery paperwork is completed accurately. HIAB Operation Operate the HIAB crane safely to load and unload building materials. Ensure loads are correctly secured before transport. Follow site safety procedures when delivering to construction sites. Vehicle & Safety Carry out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting for the DAF HGV vehicle. Ensure compliance with Driver Hours Regulations, Tachograph rules, and Working Time Directive. Keep the vehicle clean, safe, and well maintained. Branch Support Assist the branch team with loading vehicles when required. Work closely with the transport and warehouse teams to ensure efficient deliveries. Support general branch operations during quieter periods if needed.
