Responsibilities / Tasks
Main duties and responsibilities:
1. Carry out maintenance and field service activities of FPP Equipment in UK & Ireland
2. Support the installation and commissioning activities on new equipment site works
3. Provide technical support where required to support the business
4. Assist with conversion of enquiries into sales
5. Self-Manage the co-ordination of maintenance activities and upgrades in the market
6. Take direction from back-office service Supervisor/coordinator
7. Develop and maintain good customer relationship
8. Detail activities within a service report and any recommended actions
9. Develop the sales volume for parts, maintenance & upgrades in line with expectations
10. Become familiar with current health and safety regulations in UK & Ireland
11. Promote a culture of trust, communication, accountability, recognition and development on an individual and team basis.
12. Willing to travel and be away from home both in the UK and abroad as required
13. Attend training and support FAT’s to meet the needs of the business
14. Ability to support weekend working where applicable
15. On-call 24/7 support on a rota basis
16. Support the vision and strategy of the Service department & management team

Your Profile / Qualifications
26. Should have a 3rd level or trade qualification with experience in after- sales and maintenance activities
27. Electrical and mechanical background.
28. Competent IT skills with good working knowledge of Microsoft word and excel
29. Should have a strong background in Food Processing & Packaging from either customer or supplier side
30. Should have knowledge and past exposure to some or all the following, Preparation, Marination, Processing, Slicing, Loading Thermoforming, Ovens, Friers, Freezers, Baggers & Handling, Packaging applicable but not limited to the following industries, Poultry, Beef, Pork, Fish, Cheese.
31. At least 5 years’ experience as a Service Engineer
