About Me:
I’m looking for dedicated support workers to assist me in Sandwich, both at home and in the community. I live with Autism, learning disabilities, and ADHD, and I need your help to enjoy life safely and fully.
Your role will be vital in helping me develop community awareness, independent living skills, and a healthy lifestyle while managing anxiety and other challenges.
Shift Patterns:
This is a 24-hour service, so flexibility is key! You’ll work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends, with options for part-time hours or specific shifts that suit your schedule.
While your primary focus will be on supporting me, there may be times when you assist others in need. Don’t worry—you’ll receive all the training necessary to provide confident and competent support to everyone.
This collaborative approach ensures that we maintain a person-centered environment where everyone receives the care they deserve.
Your Role and Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
* Be patient, understanding, and confident in your approach.
* Communicate effectively, using mindful language that is honest and consistent.
* Support me in challenging situations with a non-judgmental attitude.
* Collaborate with specialists in multi-disciplinary teams, including Occupational Therapists and Social Workers.

This is a specialist supported living service in Sandwich, and we have high expectations for our staff. You’ll receive comprehensive training locally before starting your role.
