The Area
The South Lodge Hotel is a welcoming community pub located in the small cathedral city of Ripon. The pub is situated in a desirable, residential area approximately half a mile south of the centre of Ripon. There is a broad mix of residents in the area to appeal to, as well as strong passing trade.
The area is described with demographics below and underpins how the pub should position itself in the community.
Demographics:
The pub benefits from being one of two pubs found in an area of around 3962 adults. The majority customer base is made up of midlife families with young children and mature adults.

* Drive trade while maintaining high retail standards.
* Create a memorable customer experience and community presence.
* Contribute ideas to develop and implement the Just Add Talent offer.
Qualifications
* Experience in managing or supervising a pub or similar hospitality operation.
* Experience in community-led hospitality at management level.
* High retail standards and ability to deliver a memorable guest experience.
* Open to new ideas and capable of driving trade through innovative approaches.
Trading Area & Facilities
The South Lodge Hotel will be undergoing a refurbishment which will cover the interior and exterior of the pub.
