Working hours: 30:00 hours per week – working 5 days in 7 across Monday - Sunday – 08:30/15:30*

You’ll work on a rotating shift schedule, including some weekends. Your rota will confirm your hours and delivery routes, which may vary based on demand.

What to expect
This role is physically demanding and fast-paced:
* Walking long distances (up to 12 miles / 20,000+ steps)
* Driving a Royal Mail van daily
* Working in all weather conditions
* Delivering letters and high volumes of parcels
* Busy, time-pressured days, especially during peak periods
About you
We’ll provide full training, a uniform, and an iconic red van. You’ll need:
* A full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points, registered to your current name and address)
* Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and able to pass a driving assessment
* Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances, climbing stairs / hills, and lifting / carrying 10kg+ mailbags
* Reliable and self-motivated
* Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment
* Customer-focused, with pride in delivering great service
* Comfortable working outdoors and independently
