We are seeking an accomplished Sous Chef to join our dynamic and dedicated culinary team at Wilde Thyme based in Comrie, Perthshire, Scotland. Accommodation can be provided. This is a permanent position offering 40 hours per week, across 5 days out of 7.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual who thrives in fast-paced, detail-oriented environments and is committed to culinary artistry, impeccable presentation, and seamless event execution.

As a Sous Chef for our high-end events division, you will play a pivotal role in the entire culinary journey, from concept to plate. You will work closely with the Culinary and Experienced Lead and Culinary Lead to design, prepare, and execute exquisite multi-course menus that cater to the most sophisticated palates.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Culinary and Experience Lead and Culinary Lead in the day-to-day running of the kitchen and management of culinary operations for events
2. Collaborate with the culinary team to co-create seasonal, bespoke, and innovative event menus
3. Maintain impeccable culinary standards
4. Manage food preparation, cooking, and presentation for all catered events, ensuring timely and flawless delivery
5. Assist with tastings and client consultations to tailor culinary offerings
6. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting
7. Uphold strict adherence to HACCP and company food safety standards

A flexible work approach is essential, as the role necessitates availability for evenings and weekends.
