Education Outreach and Reintegration Support worker – Sutton Tuition and Reintegration Service (STARS).
28.0? Actually 32.5 hours per week term time only (38 weeks per year). Actual salary £24,260 - £27,680 (fte: £32,070 - £36,585). Salary scale 5/6. Start Date: ASAP.
STARS is seeking to appoint an Outreach Support worker to join our creative and dedicated staff team. STARS was judged outstanding in the most recent Ofsted inspection (February 2024). We work with children and young people with complex medical needs who are unable, either temporarily or longer term, to access their mainstream school. The majority of pupils attend the Drapers Centre in Carshalton where they access the curriculum in small groups in a nurturing and therapeutic setting. Other pupils may receive 1-1 individual tuition at various sites within the London Borough of Sutton, including the school room at the Royal Marsden Hospital.
