As the Electronics Test Engineer / Technician you will:
Be involved in maintenance, installations, troubleshooting and commissioning of high value electronic equipment and real time monitoring systems.
Be trained in working with the specific systems within a supportive team environment.
Be involved in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), documenting results and resolving issues.
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment faults, coordinating repairs as needed.
Support mobilisation of survey equipment, including installation and mounting systems on site.
Communicate with customers as required during installation and commissioning activities, keeping them informed of progress and responding to requests in a timely fashion.
We are looking for an Electronics Test Engineer / Technician with:
Previous experience with electronic equipment, instrumentation, or technical systems including troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
A background in Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
Any experience with survey equipment, sensors, or data acquisition systems in a field-based role would be highly advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing and documentation.
Good communication skills and customer-facing experience are essential in this role.
This is a field based role, you must be comfortable with extensive travel and working at client sites, and as such, you will need a full manual UK driving license.
As part of a growing team, you would become a vital link between the field-based data capture teams and workshop-based technical systems teams. In return you will receive a salary of £32,000 - £40,000per annum plus:
