The Role
A vacancy has arisen for an Associate Engineer to join a growing consultancy based in Exeter. The successful candidate will lead the design and project delivery process, manage engineering teams, and mentor junior staff. The position offers an opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects with close collaboration between offices.
Responsibilities
* Lead structural and/or civil design and overall project delivery
* Manage engineers and technicians within the project team
* Mentor junior staff and support professional development
* Maintain communication with other offices to ensure coordinated project execution
* Ensure commercial awareness and adherence to project deadlines
Requirements
* Degree (or equivalent) in Structural or Civil Engineering
* Chartered Member of the ICE or IStructE
* Minimum of seven years’ experience in structural engineering
* Proven ability to lead project teams and deliver high-quality outcomes
* Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills
