Location: Manchester Metropolitan University (residents of Manchester only)
Course Dates: 3 days (6-8 August 2025)
Salary: Competitive; determined upon interview
Schologists Magna is a BAC‑accredited short‑course provider in the UK, specializing in impact‑driven summer programmes for international students in partnership with leading international schools. We’re seeking a Mandarin‑fluent Teaching Assistant to help deliver our hands‑on Business Innovation course—guiding Chinese secondary students (ages 12–17) as they develop mock entrepreneurial projects from ideation through to business planning.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate expert-led sessions in business innovation, providing real‑time translation and cultural context
Guide small student groups (12–17 years old) through every stage of their entrepreneurial project:
* Market research & ideation
* Business planning & financial projections
* Presentation coaching & teamwork
Support classroom logistics: materials preparation, tech setup, and smooth transitions between activities
Act as a cultural bridge—ensuring Chinese students feel confident, engaged, and understood throughout the programme
Provide on‑site assistance at Manchester Metropolitan University for the full 3‑day course
What We’re Looking For
Native or near‑native fluency in Mandarin and excellent English communication skills
Background in business study, and enthusiasm for entrepreneurship
Prior experience working with teenagers (tutoring, mentoring, or classroom assistance preferred)
Strong organizational skills and a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset
Manchester residency (local candidates only, as on‑site presence is required)
