Key Responsibilities
•Lead the strategic development of inclusion across the school, ensuring an ambitious vision aligned with our School Development Plan.
•Champion high quality teaching, tailored support and effective interventions to meet diverse
pupil needs.
•Oversee statutory and strategic responsibilities related to the SEND Code of Practice, Equality Act 2010, safeguarding and the wellbeing of all pupils.
•Work collaboratively with staff, families, external agencies and governors to secure strong
progress for vulnerable groups.
•Line manage and develop the inclusion and support staff team, promoting a culture of
professional excellence and reflective practice.
•Lead the strategic use of Pupil Premium to improve outcomes.
•Serve as a Designated Safeguarding Lead and the Designated Teacher for Looked After Children.
•Promote a positive, inclusive ethos where every pupil is supported to succeed and flourish.
