Role overview
Ripon Ground Care, is part of the Ripon Group, a family owned multibranch agricultural and ground care dealership covering 13 sites within Yorkshire, Teesside, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire. We are responsible for the sale and aftersales support of a wide range of turf machinery and products.
We require a Mobile Grounds-care Service Technician to perform diagnostics, service, repair & maintenance on customer and dealer owned, horticultural equipment. This will include service & repair of commercial turf cutting & maintenance equipment, compact tractors and utility vehicles from manufacturers, such as John Deere, Charterhouse and Trimax. Service and repair work will predominantly be done on in the depot, whilst also working on customer sites.
General duties:
* Perform diagnostics, service, repairs and maintenance on horticultural equipment.
* Perform pre-delivery set-up on new or used equipment.
* Complete administration tasks (including time sheets and job cards).
* Maintain a clean workstation at all times.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and company procedures.
* Participate in training programs to enhance skills and technical knowledge.
The role requires you to act in a professional manner and actively promote Ripon Ground Care with positivity and integrity. Knowledge of agricultural equipment would be preferred but full training on products and systems and will be provided. A full valid driving licence is required as you will need to drive to customers sites and drive company vehicles.
Hours of work
Monday to Friday (8am till 5pm).
Must be flexible to support with overtime to suit the business demands, this will be seasonally, evenings and weekends.
