Supply teacher roles are ideal for both experienced teachers and ECTs who are hoping to expand their experience and knowledge along the way. Here at Flourish, we always aim to get ECTs supported during this new journey. We currently work with several local primary and nursery schools within Wolverhampton and surrounding areas, which often have a high demand for supply staff to help cover classes on both a day-to-day and long-term basis. The role will include delivering pre-planned lessons to children and supporting them in their understanding of the national curriculum, as well as working collaboratively with classroom support staff. Classroom teachers have the responsibility to safeguard and supervise children throughout the day and report any concerns accordingly. Typical working hours are from 08:30 – 16:30, with flexibility around which days you work.
