About the role
We’re looking for a dynamic and driven Housing professional to lead a team focused on service improvement, policy development, process optimisation, and data analysis within our housing services.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead strategic housing initiatives and policy development, ensuring alignment with Council objectives.
* Deliver high-quality research, data analysis, and reporting to inform decision-making across all levels.
* Review and enhance existing strategies and procedures, promoting consistency and best practice.
* Support cross-functional project groups and drive improvement plans related to regulatory compliance and tenant satisfaction.
* Represent the Council at internal and external meetings, sharing insights and learning.
* Oversee digital content for housing services and manage budgets for improvement projects.
* Deputise for the Head of Housing Performance and Improvement when required.
What We’re Looking For
* Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Proven experience in housing policy, performance improvement, and data analysis.
* Ability to communicate complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
* A proactive approach to identifying and sharing good practice.
This is a full time post working a 37 hour week based around the usual business working week. May on occasion be required to work outside normal office hours or to attend evening meetings. There is a requirement to work at least 2 days from the office.
