Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to grow our presence in the UK market and potential into the Canadian market. This role focuses on selling Edified’s consulting and benchmarking services to higher education institutions, helping them achieve excellence through data-driven insights and strategic solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and engage potential clients within the UK education sector.
* Visit prospective clients on campus, at events or virtually to develop and nurture relationships with decision-makers at universities and colleges.
* Sell Edified’s consulting, benchmarking and training offerings to prospective and current clients
* Make appointments for Edified’s Partners and Senior Consultants to sell high level consulting services
* Manage the sales process from prospecting to closing deals through our CRM
* Report progress to target to Edified’s UK Country Director
* Collaborate with the global team to refine sales strategies and market positioning.
What We’re Looking For:
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business development, sales, or partnership development in the education sector.
* Strong understanding of higher education context, challenges and trends.
* Excellent communication skills and a track record in developing positive and productive client relationships
* Self-motivated and able to work independently from home.
* Existing networks within the UK higher education sector.
* Existing networks within the Canadian higher education sector (desirable).
* Someone who demonstrates commitment to our values, our collaborative working style and our positivity.
