An exciting opportunity has arisen within the School Nursing Service for a School Health Assistant. This vacancy, will be 13.5 hours, and will be paid at Band 3 and based at Abergele Clinic, Conwy. The role will involve working alongside the School Nursing teams and will include a variety of tasks including contributing to the Child Measurement Programme, Vision and Audiology Screening, contributing to the delivery of the Immunisation Programme as set by Welsh Government and general administration support. Qualifications
* Good standard of education, including GCSE English and Maths Grades A-C or equivalent Level II qualification.
* Minimum of 46 credits from any pillar of the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales mapped to an individual's job role at level 2 (60% of which must be at level 2).
* Community experience.

* Experience of working with children and young people
* Experience of working in health visiting, school nursing, children's social care team or education.
