Job Description
Kincardine Health Centre – Fife Health and Social Care Partnership. We are delighted to offer a Band 5 Treatment Room Nurse position within the Community Treatment and Care (CTAC) Service at the Kincardine Medical Practice in West Fife.
Role Overview
As an autonomous practitioner, you will use your own initiative and clinical judgement daily to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care in a primary‑care setting. The role requires flexibility to cover treatment rooms across West Fife and other areas such as South West Villages, Dunfermline, Lochgelly, Cowdenbeath, Kelty, Benarty, Primrose Lane surgery and Queen Margaret Hospital.
Responsibilities
* Work independently in clinics to provide care and treatment including wound management, venepuncture, compression bandages, Doppler assessment, injections and other evolving nursing tasks.
* Deliver safe, effective, person‑centred practice to meet the needs of people in Fife.
* Provide cover for treatment rooms within West Fife and be available to cover other areas as required.
* Work as part of a multi‑professional team.
Qualifications and Experience
* Adult / General Nurse registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
* Necessary skills and experience to work within a Primary Care setting, delivering high quality standards of care.
* Experience working independently and as part of a multi‑professional team.
* Demonstrated continuing personal development.
* Flexibility to cover treatment rooms across West Fife and other areas.
* Legally entitled to work in the United Kingdom or eligible for sponsorship.
Contract and Schedule
BAND 5 21.6 HOURS – Must be available and flexible Mon‑Fri 08:30am‑4:30pm approximately.
