Partnerships Account Manager
Athena Sports Group – Portsmouth, UK (Full-time)
Athena Sports Group is seeking a full-time Communications & Partnerships Account Manager to join its marketing communications team. The role will primarily focus on the Emirates GBR SailGP, while also supporting the Athena Pathway Programme, Athena Racing (British America’s Cup team) and The 1851 Trust. This position will play a key role in driving visibility, awareness, and engagement across all teams and initiatives. The role is based at Athena Sports Group’s Portsmouth office and will involve regular international travel.
Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Emirates GBR title partner, managing the relationship and ensuring delivery against KPIs.
* Serve as a key point of contact for all Emirates GBR commercial partners, responsible for rights delivery including conceiving and overseeing partner activation campaigns and ensuring all contractual deliverables are met.
* Manage the team’s partner reporting, showcasing meaningful and insightful results for all team partners.
* Support the commercial team in communicating Athena Pathway’s partnerships through creative media and communication plans that drive value for all stakeholders.
* 4–5+ years of relevant professional experience preferred.
* Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and organisational communication skills.
* Knowledge of the global sponsorship landscape, with established commercial connections preferred.
* Proven experience and success within the sports and/or entertainment industry.
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 25% of the time).

Type: Full-time
Hours: Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00 (with a 45-minute lunch break)
