A little about us: I am a teenage boy who loves doing things and going out. I am very active and people around me say that I am very likeable and an endearing young lad. I love one-to-one attention. I am very clever and polite. I love talking to people and I would love to have the opportunity to learn to swim and socialise with my friends more.
About my brother: I am a very endearing and sweet 10‑year‑old boy with a learning disability and Autism. I am adorable, gentle in nature, and have a strong love of learning. My level of understanding is very good, and I am content most of the time.
Driver required to take us out.
Responsibilities
* Take us out so we can burn off our energy and help us to go out as a family and sometimes to spend one to one time with us.
* Understand our needs with ADHD and Autism.
* Support my mum for us to meet with friends and do fun things with us.
* You are active and help me to meet my friends in the community and take me swimming.
* You have previous experience working with children with ADHD.
* Take me out so I can have some fun and also work with my family.
* Understand the importance of my needs.
* Be fun and patient with me.
* Be dependable and arrive on time.
* Be friendly with an easy-going manner.
* Be adaptable and flexible.
* Be supportive with my needs.
* Have business insurance on your car to take me out.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Concerning the position: Costs of DBS will be met by Swansea council where applicant is eligible.
* Experience or ability to work with children with ADHD and autism is preferred.
