About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading main contractor delivering a high-profile student accommodation scheme. We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the construction phase and ensure successful delivery of the project, managing everything from programme and budget to quality and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the delivery of the student accommodation project on behalf of the main contractor, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to coordinate resources efficiently.
*
Monitor project progress, prepare reports for senior management, and implement corrective actions as required.
*
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
*
Manage project risks, identifying issues early and implementing mitigation strategies.
*
Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships, representing the main contractor professionally at all times.
Candidate Requirements:

Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager with a main contractor on large-scale residential or student accommodation projects.
*
Excellent knowledge of construction processes, contract management, and commercial/project financials.
*
Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
*
Ability to manage complex programmes and multiple stakeholders under tight deadlines.
*
Professional qualifications such as CIOB, RICS, or equivalent preferred.
