We are looking for an experienced Senior Night Care Worker to join our team, supporting the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care during night-time hours. This role provides leadership on shift while ensuring high-quality care is delivered throughout the night.
What your night could look like
1. Leading the night shift and acting as the senior point of contact on duty
2. Delivering high-quality personal care while promoting dignity, choice and independence
3. Administering and overseeing medication in line with policies and procedures
4. Monitoring residents’ wellbeing and responding appropriately to changes or emergencies
5. Completing accurate records and clear handovers to ensure continuity of care
6. Supporting and guiding night care staff throughout the shift
7. Maintaining a calm, safe and well-organised environment overnight
8. Liaising with on-call managers and external professionals when required
About you
You will hold an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and have experience working in a senior or supervisory role within a care setting. You are confident working independently overnight, able to make sound decisions and lead with professionalism and compassion. You bring strong communication skills, attention to detail and a calm, organised approach. You will be registered with the SSSC and appointment to this role will be subject to PVG membership.
