Join a well-established and growing employee-owned company in the water and wastewater sector, dedicated to providing essential services and solutions for pump stations and treatment plants. We are on the lookout for motivated individuals to join our team as Field Service Technicians.
As a Field Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliable operation of various pump stations and treatment plants. This position involves hands-on work with mechanical and electrical systems, requiring physical capability and a willingness to travel to variouspumpstationsandtreatmentplantsintheLancasterCountyandsurroundingareas(PA).
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance and service agreements on pump stations, including changing oil, adjusting clearances, and checking electrical characteristics.
* Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues, including working with three-phase power and control panels.
* Travel to job sites daily, with less occasional (quarterly) expectations of overnight multi-day assignments for more distant PA/MD locations.
* Maintain accurate records of service performed and report any significant findings to management.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in electrical or mechanical fields is a plus.
* Experience with electrical systems, particularly three-phase power, is required.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks as needed.
* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
* Willingness to travel and work variable hours, including occasional weekends for emergency calls.
Travel Requirements:
* Daily travel tojob sites around the Lancaster County area - avg 30-60 mins,with the possibility of servicing locations up to four hours away on the upper-end.
* Travel will primarily be conducted using a company truck, gas card, and technicians will be expected to leave from their home each day.
* Candidates should be prepared for occasional overnight assignments, typicallyonce every few months (quarterly).
* Flexibility to work variable hours, including potential emergency phone calls on weekends you are assigned.

* Competitive hourly rate ranging from $25 to $38, based on experience, plus 1.5x for overtime.
