We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector for our facility in Silverstone. You will conduct inspections of incoming materials and in-process components to ensure they meet strict quality standards. Your attention to detail and dedication will be vital to our operational success.
* Lead and perform detailed dimensional inspections using Polyworks, PC-DMIS software, and utilize Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), Portable Arms, and Trackers to verify product specifications.
* Support manufacturing in performing in-process inspections to meet design and manufacturing standards.
* Maintain thorough knowledge of the QRS system to document inspection findings and communicate results effectively.
* Assist in maintaining quality control documentation and records.
* Collaborate with the Quality Control Inspection Manager and other departments to resolve quality issues.
* Contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
* Ensure all inspection tools and equipment are properly calibrated and functional to maintain measurement accuracy.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations during inspections.
Requirements

What do you need to bring to the team?
* Previous experience in a quality control role, preferably in motorsport or aerospace industries, with experience in composite and metallic materials.
* Thorough understanding of metrology software Polyworks and Pcdmis, including offline programming.
* Strong knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
* Experience with inspection tools and measurement equipment, including Polyworks and Pcdmis software.
* Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to identify defects and prepare detailed reports, including dimensional analysis and NCRs.
* Strong communication skills for conveying findings and working collaboratively or independently.
* Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel, with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to quality assurance.
