Newby Dental Practice is located in the heart of the lovely village of Newby, in Scarborough.
Newby Dental Practice, opened just last year, is a newly renovated, custom refurbished premises, completed to an excellent standard. With 7 beautiful surgeries, X-ray facilities, CBCT machine, Intra-oral scanner, Treatment coordinator rooms, decontamination room, an open plan reception suite, conference and training room as well as staff lounge.
An exciting opportunity is available to join our enthusiastic team at Newby Dental Practice. Our team are looking for a passionate, hardworking employee for the position of Dental Nurse. A training post will be offered to the right candidate.
Dental experience is not essential; we are really looking more for an individual who is passionate and enthusiastic about starting or continuing a career in the dental field. The right candidate needs to be comfortable with dealing with the public, polite and have excellent communication skills.
Further and enhanced training will be provided for the right candidate.
Job Role:
Newby Dental Practice is a modern practice, which provides a full range of dental treatments, including Dental Implants, Sedation, Orthodontic Treatment, Cosmetic Procedures and Facial Aesthetics. These are all advanced procedures and so assisting with and coordinating the patient journey from initial assessment to completion takes skill, dedication and excellent communication skills. The right candidate must be able to work as part of the team to ensure the patients experience at our practice is outstanding.
Reception assistance may also be required and these duties include dealing with patients both face to face, over the phone or enquiries via email, website or social media. Other vital roles include managing appointments and contributing to the overall smooth running of the practice as well as boosting sales through promoting and upselling the provision of private services.
We provide Denplan, private and NHS dental care, so administration work involved with the provision of these methods of treatment needs to be undertaken efficiently by the reception team.

Job Detail:

Requirements:
