Hello Education is proud to be working in partnership with a secondary school in Bradford, who are seeking a dedicated Inclusion Lead to join their pastoral team from September. This is a crucial role, managing the school’s internal exclusion/isolation room, supporting students who may be experiencing behavioural difficulties, and helping them re-engage positively with school life.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the school’s isolation provision effectively and calmly
Build strong, respectful relationships with students who may be disengaged or dysregulated
Support the implementation of behaviour intervention strategies
Monitor student behaviour and implement plans to promote positive conduct
Work closely with pastoral staff, safeguarding teams, and SLT to ensure consistency
Promote a safe, structured and nurturing environment for students
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Proven experience working with challenging behaviour (school or youth work setting ideal)
Excellent behaviour management and de-escalation skills
Resilience, emotional intelligence and a calm, authoritative presence
A genuine passion for supporting young people
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A current Enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one)
