Students who attend the site present with a range of SEN, including: Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) Speech, Language & Communication Needs (SLCN) The Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Support students in the classroom and during structured interventions. Help deliver tailored learning activities adapted to individual needs. Assist with behaviour regulation and emotional wellbeing. Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN professionals, and external agencies. Play a key role in creating a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment. What We re Looking For Previous experience supporting children with the SEN listed above (essential). A patient, resilient, and caring approach. Ability to build trust and positive relationships with pupils. Strong communication skills. A proactive attitude and willingness to learn. Any relevant additional training or qualifications (e.g., Team Teach, Autism Awareness, Makaton, Trauma-Informed Practice) will be highly valued.
