SHE Manager needed to oversee Health, Safety and Environment legal requirements, policies, standards, and procedures for a busy food manufacturing site.
As SHE Manager you’ll report into the Head of Operations for a busy food manufacturing business.

This role will suit an experienced Safety, Health, and Environment Manager who has worked in a UK Food or FMCG manufacturing business with a large number of employees and a range of different equipment and machines.
Day-to-day you’ll ensure that all Health, Safety and Environment legal requirements, policies, standards, and procedures are compliant with current legislation and company policy. You’ll upkeep environmental permit conditions, co-ordinate business actions with enforcement authorities / loss adjusters and promote and drive a culture of continuous improvement of Health and Safety. You’ll coordinate SHE training, design, implement, monitor, and report on SHE performance whilst delivering SHE targets and strategies.
To qualify for consideration, you’ll need,
1. Experience as SHE Manager in a Food or FMCG manufacturing business
2. Diploma level NEBOSH H&S and Environmental qualification or equivalent
3. Strong communication skills verbal, presentation skills and written
4. Ability to influence at a senior level and champion / implement change
5. Demonstrable compliance to legislation
It’s a Monday-Friday day role based at site.
