Lead Clinical Director - Small Animal

Location: Scottish Borders

Salary: Up to £85,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Job Type: Permanent Full-time

Hours: 40 hours per week – 4 or 5-day week plus 1 in 5 weekends OOH (with time off in lieu) and 1 night per week

This dual-site role offers a professionally rewarding position across two well-supported sites in the scenic Scottish Borders. Just 45 minutes from Edinburgh, the area boasts easy access to the capital while offering a relaxed lifestyle with a wealth of outdoor pursuits on your doorstep.


The Sites

* Mixed practice with a solid farm base and an expanding companion animal component. It is also home to the UK’s leading stem cell, regenerative medicine, and rehabilitation clinic.
* Long-established and successful mixed practice with a forward-thinking mindset. Recently, significant investment has enabled the development of modern facilities and an expansion of services.


What is needed?

* RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
* Experience in practice leadership and exceptional clinical care delivery
* Excellent communication skills with a client-focused ethos
* Confidence in performing clinical work in the Small Animal department
